Individual Academic All State is awarded to seniors who have achieved a grade point average of 3.70 throughout their high school career. Coaches must be a MIVCA member for players to be eligible.
This association is organized exclusively for educational purposes: to promote high school interscholastic volleyball; to provide a forum for discussion of techniques and rules of volleyball; to improve the quality and quantity of media coverage high school volleyball; also to promote and develop volleyball at all levels in Michigan.
