We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for our 2nd annual Mr. Volleyball Award for the 2026 season. Please review the criteria below and submit your nomination via the link provided by the deadline.
To complete the nomination process, please have the following information ready (all information is not required, but the more you provide the better):
Nominate a deserving athlete who has not only excelled on the court but also embodies the true spirit of leadership and integrity. We look forward to reviewing your nominations and celebrating the outstanding talent in Michigan’s boys volleyball community.
Voting for the 2026 Mr. Volleyball Award will be open to all MIVCA member varsity coaches from 8:00a on Monday, May 11 – 9:00p on Wednesday, May 20.
Each coach will be asked to select three candidates. Voting will be determined using a points-based system:
Congratulations to Caleb Cryst of Grand Haven High School on being named the 2026 Mr. Volleyball Award recipient!
SNA Sports and the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association (MIVCA) are proud to recognize Caleb as this year’s honoree for his outstanding leadership, athletic achievement, character, and impact on the game of boys volleyball in Michigan.
A four-year varsity starter, two-year captain, and true team-first player, Caleb helped lead Grand Haven to three consecutive State Finals appearances while compiling an incredible career record of 169-14.
Congratulations, Caleb, on an incredible high school career and this well-deserved honor!
