Required Information:

The Varsity Volleyball Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the high school volleyball program. This includes developing student-athletes’ skills, fostering a competitive and positive team culture, and promoting sportsmanship, leadership, and academic success. The coach plays a key role in building a strong program that represents the school with pride both on and off the court.

Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct structured practices that focus on advanced skill development, team systems, and competitive strategy.

Oversee all aspects of matches, including lineup decisions, game preparation, and in-game adjustments.

Develop and mentor student-athletes to improve performance, leadership, and understanding of the game.

Build and maintain a positive team culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Communicate consistently with athletes, parents, and athletic department staff regarding expectations, schedules, and program goals.

Collaborate with sub-varsity coaches to ensure alignment and development throughout the volleyball program.

Invest in the growth of youth and feeder volleyball programs to help build long-term success for the school’s volleyball program.

Ensure compliance with all school, conference, and state athletic association rules and regulations.
